What is SentrySIS?

SentrySIS is a cloud based software solution to the reporting of localised crime incidents that was introduced to Swansea in 2022. The software connects local businesses, national retailers, South Wales Police, and Swansea BID, creating an effective and efficient network against crime in the city centre.

SentrySIS provides a platform for all stakeholders within the area to work together and share information about crime in a secure, GDPR compliant way. As this technology works in real-time, all users have a direct link to SABC crime partnership resulting in effective communication in an instant.

How It Works?

This innovative software provides a comprehensive platform for reporting business crime and related incidents. It allows for the creation of detailed incident reports, perpetrator profiles, and a crime map that highlights hotspots and trends. The system not only assists in documenting and tracking incidents but also fosters a community of vigilance and cooperation among city centre businesses. Early last year the platform played an instrumental role in the exposure and resulting prosecution of the news covered ‘Dine and Dash‘ incident offenders.
